He is the son of Evanthia, nee Kiriazi, and on his mother’s side, he comes from the village of Isari of the Municipality of Megalopoli. His mother started teaching Greek to young people of the diaspora since she immigrated in the early ’50s and a bit later she created a Greek Learning Program at the Holy Trinity Church of Westfield, New Jersey.
He served as Executive Director of Brookings, one of the biggest American think tanks with global outreach.
