I just had to share this classic Greek photo. This is my great-great grandfather and great-great grandmother.
Panayotis Papagyropoulos was born in Orchomenós, Arcadia, Greece and died in Orchomenós, Arcadia, Greece. He married Maritza Papagyropoulos [Kebala] who also died in Orchomenós, Arcadia, Greece.
Panayotis was a warrant officer and delivered subpoenas. He was also a goldsmith. We’ve been told he used to run up and down the mountains delivering the subpoenas and lived to be 110.
His wife Maritza and her sister, Sofia, were orphans.
My grandfather was born in 1898 so I am sure this photo is quite old.
